Wyatt Throckmorton-Kahn won the Wilchester Spelling Bee, and Avni Shiv was the runner-up. Wyatt and Avni, both fifth graders, now advance to the SBISD District Spelling Bee at Westchester Academy this month. They’ve received a list of over 4,000 words to study.
