Eli, age 1

My name is Eli, and I’m 1.5 years old. I’ve had a pretty tough beginning. I was roaming around the Houston streets and was heartworm positive, but then I was picked up by a nice lady. She contacted other dog-lovers, and they posted my photo on social media. My parents saw my photo and instantly fell in love with me! I think my handsome looks and sweet spirit showed through in my photos! My parents have taken great care of me during my heartworm treatment. My mom stares at me all the time asking how I got to be so good. I just tilt my head or get up and lick her. My dad is always buying me delicious treats and fun new toys. My life started out tough, but I landed in a house full of love!
