Niloufar Molav, Trish Morille

At the Barbara Bush Ladies for Literacy Meeting, hostess Niloufar Molav congratulates Trish Morille on her position as the new president of the Ladies for Literacy Guild.

Mehrnaz Gill and Leah Stasney announced that more than 91,000 books have been collected and distributed to children over three years at the book drive hosted by the Ladies for Literacy Guild. Niloufar Molavi hosted the lively meeting, where president Donatella Benckenstein passed the gavel to incoming president Trish Morille. The new board also includes Lisa Jakel, Ginger Blanton, Mignon Heizer, Rosie Damgaard, Cindy Puryear, Ginny Endecott, Diane Gendel, Mehrnaz Gill, Janna Roberson and many committee members. Lifetime guild members Laurel D’Antoni and Stephanie Tsuru agree with Frederick Douglass: “Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.”  To join, see bushhoustonliteracy.org.
