Popped the question

Zach Nathan recently popped the question to Emily Newsom in Galveston. The couple started dating their junior year at Lamar High School and continued while he attended University of Tulsa and she attended Texas Tech University and this past year when she was working at MD Anderson and he was getting a master’s in accounting at Rice. He proposed on the same beach where he gave her a necklace to mark the one-month anniversary of their first date. Her answer to his proposal was, “Yes, finally!” Afterward, he surprised her with a small family celebration at his grandparents' house in Galveston. They are hoping for a summer wedding next year in Houston.
