The Rose/Sanders family participated in the first-ever virtual Texas Legacy US Pageant and, for the first time in any pageant’s history, three generations from one family won. Aspen Rose Sanders (pictured, on left) won Miss Pee Wee Texas, Holland Rose Sanders (on right) won Teeny Miss Lonestar, Erica Rose Sanders won Mrs. Texas Legacy, and Cindi Rose won Miss Texas Elite (ages 50-plus). For the talent portion, Cindi displayed silhouette art, Erica gave a speech about helping others as a lawyer, Holland danced and sang “Baby Face,” and Aspen danced. During quarantine, family members have made sack lunches for Kids’ Meals, tie-dyed masks to donate to nurses and decorated hats for Today’s Harbor for Children, foster care for neglected children and teens.
