This summer, Jasmine Sidhu, a freshman at DeBakey High School for Health Professions, tutored a middle-school student in math via Zoom. Before heading back to school, she decided to use the money she made from tutoring to buy food to help the community during the Covid pandemic. Along with her parents, she brought $500 worth of food items to ECHOS, Epiphany Community Health Outreach Services. Here, Jasmine is pictured (on left) with Janice Guirola (on right), client intake for ECHOS. Jasmine joined our School Buzz team this year; read about this experience from her perspective.
