Chloe
Woof, I’m Chloe. For humans, a new year usually means losing weight, but my resolution is to gain a few pounds. You see, rescuers found me locked in a metal cage beside a flooding road. I weighed only 45 pounds, and my teeth were ruined from trying to chew through the cage. For centuries, Great Pyrenees dogs like me guarded livestock and humans, but I desperately needed a guardian angel. My guardian angels adopted me the day my story hit the news. They nursed me back to health, cared for me through cancer, and have toured the country with me in their RV. Today, I am a healthy 105 pounds but have room to grow! If you see me on vacation, feel free to offer me a bite of your steak or hamburger. I won’t mind. My resolution this year is to eat more and to keep living the dream.
