Finn Hall All Access Art Market
On Friday, art deco food hall Finn Hall is hosting the All Access Art Market, featuring more than 25 local artists showcasing and selling their work. Visitors can check out emerging local artists while enjoying food and cocktails. Note: all visitors must wear masks inside the food hall.
Hops n’ Hot Sauce Festival
The 5th Annual Hops n’ Hot Sauce Festival takes place Saturday, with a hot pepper eating contest, live DJ and entertainment plus a silent auction supporting Addi’s Faith Foundation. Tickets are $10 at the door for adults and free for kids under 12.
Houston Symphony Presents in The Mood: A Big Band New Year at Jones Hall
Enjoy electrifying big band classics like “In the Mood” and “Take the ‘A’ Train” plus Sinatra standards like “Come Fly with Me,” all brought to life by the Houston Symphony and charismatic vocalist David Caceras. Join at Jones Hall for a socially distanced concert or watch from home through a livestream performance.
Covid, The Environment & Justice
Join an online panel of speakers from diverse faith traditions to explore the connections between COVID, the environment and justice. Each speaker will address this topic from the perspective of their faith.
Zoo Lights
This is the last weekend to check out Zoo Lights! Before it’s too late, check out the Houston Zoo, which, each night, is transformed into a magical winter spectacular, with LED lighting illuminating the pathways and trees. To allow for proper social distancing, tickets must be purchased in advance.
