Junior League market was super
The Junior League of Houston (JLH) hosted their second “SUPER” Market to provide food for nearly 1,000 people and basic-needs items for 450 children. Courtney Baker, Ashley Scoggins, Emily-Frances McAdams, Rachel Regan, and Marie Newton joined other JLH volunteers to serve clients from B.E.A.R., Child Advocates, DePelchin Children’s Center, Mission of Yahweh, Nehemiah Center, Neighbors in Action, Operation Homefront, and the women and children residents of Star of Hope. When families entered the SUPER Market, they were greeted by Santa and his elf and received a family-style breakfast prepared by the Junior League. Both adults and children received warm winter coats, and kids also received holiday
