Bandits take the win
The Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association (SBMSA) Bandits (pictured) claimed the gold bracket lacrosse championship in a narrow victory over the Raiders. Coached by Craig Peterson and Jeremy McKeon, the undefeated Bandits faced a tough opponent and came out on top, 17-15, by using a combination of great passes and aggressive defense. The game was a well-played, tight contest with both teams going back and forth, and neither team able to take a big lead. In the fourth quarter, the Bandits, who are rising fourth and fifth graders at Bunker Hill Elementary, scored a few key goals and made some important saves to secure the win. The Bandits are (top row, from left) coaches Craig Peterson and Jeremy McKeon; (bottom row, from left) Jacob Barnhill, Pierce McKeon, Diego Lafee, Stuart Schwieder, Ben Sellis, Marshall Fort, Aiden Weller, Sam Krejci, Torren Lawson-Ho, Miles Porter, and James Peterson.
