Brick Rodeo LEGO Fan Exhibition
This weekend, Brick Rodeo, a LEGO fan convention, will be hosted at Houston Marriott Sugar Land. Brick Rodeo will include family-friendly LEGO activities, games, presentations, and giveaways. The exhibition will be open to the public July 24-25. Hours are 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. each day and tickets are $20. See more details about attending here.
Live In Central Park Revisited: James Taylor
On Friday evening at Miller Outdoor Theatre, Lee Lessack and Johnny Rodgers pay homage to James Taylor’s iconic 1979 performance in Central Park. Their performance will include favorites like “Carolina in My Mind,” “Walking Man,” and “Sweet Baby James.” This event is free and open to the public.
Dining Out for Life
Starting on Saturday, July 24, a list of Houston-area restaurants are participating in Dining Out For Life and will be donating a portion of their proceeds to AIDS Foundation Houston, Inc. This fundraiser will end July 31. Check here for a list of participating restaurants.
I Scream for Ice Cream
On Saturday at Children’s Museum Houston, make your own frozen treat with cool science experiments or enjoy free Blue Bell ice cream. This event is included with the price of admission ($12).
Houston’s Got Bollywood Presented by Moksh Community Arts
On Saturday evening at Miller, Moksh Community Arts presents a four-act performance in true Bollywood dance theatre style. A spectacular evening of color, light, sound, and dance is what you can expect from this production. This event is free and open to the public.
10th Annual BuffBrew Christmas in July
It’s Christmas in July at Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company! Tickets range from $30 to $35 and get you access to the best Christmas in July party in Houston with DJ Nayyz spinning some holiday beats and entry into the ugly sweater and yellow snow eating contests.
