Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association Spartans

The Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association (SBMSA) varsity tackle Spartans (pictured) took a pause from playing football to show their patriotism with a display of American flags. SBMSA’s football opening day was held on September 11th, and the Spartans honored the Americans who died 20 years ago. The fifth and sixth graders won their first game and were feeling hopeful about how the rest of the season would go. The Spartans are (top row, from left) Miles Smith, Griffin Heinecke, Gage Donnell, Caden Graham, Jack Stephenson, Ethan Yates, Charlie Kanewske, Kellen Gage, Cooper Casey, Matthew Tatro, Nate Sandidge, Levi Ward, Boden Elholm, (bottom row, from left) Mac Luz, Abel Vera, David Sanchez, Sam Dunlap, Patrick Howard, and Liam Robinson
