The West University Softball Association (WUSA) 10U WAVE all-star team (pictured) won the Slide into Fall round-robin tournament in Willis. With a combination of dominant pitching, solid defense, and powerful hitting, the girls won all four tournament games by large margins to claim the title of champion. The WAVE players came together from various regular-season softball teams to form the all-star team after a rigorous tryout process. Also coaching were Bob Monkmeyer, Drew Morris, Jorge Trejo, Andrew DeBusk, and Tony Tang.
