Rummel Creek tackles the competition

SBMSA JV tackle Trojans Thomas Simmons, Austin Stephens, William Hewitt, Collin Merchant, and Luke Schultz (pictured, from left) wrapped up a tough football game against the Texans team. The Trojans, who attend Rummel Creek Elementary School, fought a good battle but came up short with a score of 14-13 in the game held at Memorial Middle School. Other games during the season went their way, and the team had a winning record and won their division. Coaches Brian Merchant, Brady Hewitt, Barrett Gibson, David Stephens, and Chris Simmons led the boys through the successful season. Other members of the team are Brennan Gibson, Ian Walker, Jackson Wolfram, Liam Polk, Maddox Compton, Marshall Rogers, Moises Cohen, Ryan Soares, and Zach Mitchell.
