We’re all elated at the 2022 World Series win after the exciting Game 6 matchup vs. the Phillies at Minute Maid Park! It’s the Astros’ second World Series title in franchise history.
Celebrate the incredible World Series win and an incredible season overall downtown on Monday, Nov. 7, at noon. The parade will start at Smith and Preston streets and will go down to Smith and Tuam streets. The route is about three miles long; more than a million are expected to attend. Houstonians are encouraged to arrive early, use ride-shares or Metro; bring water, sunscreen, and patience.
Houston ISD has announced all schools will be closed to allow families to celebrate at the victory parade. SBISD has announced there will be a regular school day; the district encourages students and staff to wear Astros gear to school.
