Rummel Creek Elementary School moms Amber Wei, Terri Le, Jenny Wang, and Karen Wu (pictured, from left) created an elaborate display to celebrate Lunar New Year, the year of the rabbit. The PTA’s international team, that coordinates school-wide cultural celebrations and festivities, used the visual aid to educate students, faculty, and staff about the meaning and traditions surrounding the holiday. The colorful display was created to include families of all Asian heritages and invite questions from those who are not familiar with the annual celebration.
