Jerry and Lisa, ages 3 and 2

I’m Lisa (pointy ears) and this is Jerry – we’re Houston rescues named after world famous physician-scientists. While we have yet to publish our work in high-impact journals, we work tirelessly in testing the limits of extreme cuteness. In our free time, we try to help our parents raise money and awareness for cancer research through our favorite activities – taking silly pictures and going for walkies. My brother Jerry enjoys swimming, which makes sense since he’s part Chesapeake Bay retriever. He has forded many Texas rivers. He also enjoys sleeping in and will actively resist being pried from bed before he’s good and ready to face the day. Then there’s me, Lisa. Despite my reserved exterior, I’m a loving girl. I may be a German Shepherd, but I believe I am a Persian lap cat. I enjoy nothing more than cuddles and being brushed. If you see us walking down the bayou, feel free to wave (sorry in advance if we get overexcited!).
