Charlotte, age 9 months

Good day! My name is Charlie, short for Charlotte Guinevere. I was born in Corpus Christie but grew up in Houston. Born in heat and humidity, my first visit to cool weather was quite a shock, but I loved it and adapted quickly. I am eager for a cool winter in Houston this year. Some of my favorite things are running at top speed (I’ve even outpaced a Border Collie), wrestling with my friend Maverick, guarding my human baby boy on stroller walks, and putting in serious miles running sidewalks and trails with my family. I like to visit nursing homes and spend time with the elders of our community. They are always so kind, and it makes my heart happy to make them smile. Plus, they have amazing stories of times that I will never know. I love making new friends, human and animal alike, and hope one day I will meet you somewhere along the trail.
