¡Feliz Quinceañera!
Stratford High School freshman Isabella Sierra (pictured, center) celebrated her quinceañera with family and friends. The quinceañera is a coming-of-age celebration in Latina culture that marks a 15-year-old girl’s entrance into womanhood. Isabella’s celebration included a service at St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church and a reception at Chateau Crystale. Family members traveled from Chicago and Mexico to celebrate with Isabella, and they loudly cheered her on as she made her grand entrance in an elegant gown at the quinceañera. Friends from Stratford and Memorial High Schools, Memorial Middle School, and Rummel Creek Elementary also attended the festive event. Family members pictured are (from left) Christopher Sierra, Dafne Sierra, Isabella Sierra, Oscar Sierra, and Olivia Sierra.
