Rebecca Coker, Louise Campaign, Pili Vilalta, Libby Fuller, Sara Thompson, and Valentina Vitale (pictured, from left) spent time in the kitchen with Creative Cuisine to learn hands-on culinary skills. For 40 years, the Sheridan Study Center has provided educational and mentorship programs for women and girls to promote family and community development. Creative Cuisine began in the fall of 2000 and is the center’s longest-running program. During the two-year class, middle school girls learn recipes from around the world as a way to expand their horizons and gain exposure to other cultures.
