Cheers to Mr. and Mrs.

John Lathrop and Margaret Trautner (pictured) were all smiles as they tied the knot at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with a reception following at the Junior League of Houston. Margaret is the daughter of Barbara and Kevin Trautner and was born and raised in West University. She graduated from St. John's School in 2016 and from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2020, where she was an all-American collegiate runner. John graduated from the University of Maryland in 2021 where he was a triathlete. The couple met as graduate students at California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and they became engaged on Margaret's parents' front porch on Thanksgiving Day, 2022. Dressed in her mother’s wedding dress and veil, Margaret’s big day included wedding-party friends from St. John's School, Camp Mystic, MIT, and Caltech.
