Augie, age 2.5

Hi! My name is Augie! I never sit still for more than five seconds, so my mom had to bribe me with treats to take this photo. Worth it. I love going on walks, playing with my friends at the Gramercy Street dog park, and barking at the Amazon delivery trucks whenever they pass by. My favorite activity on walks is meeting new dog friends, so much so that I’ll stop everything I’m doing and refuse to move until we get to say hello. Some call me stubborn, but I would say I am “determined,” or perhaps “resolute.” Dinner tastes better outside, so you might see my mom walking me with my food bowl in hand. My dog friends describe me as “the life of the party,” and my human friends lovingly call me “aloof.” My primary way of showing affection is by bringing you my favorite toy to play tug-of-war.
