2016 Summer Sounds on the Plaza

Join us at the Rothko Chapel for the first concert of the 2016 Summer Sounds on the Plaza series at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 23.

Danza Azteca Taxcayolotl will be kicking off the series. This great local group is dedicated to preserving and nurturing the indigenous cultures of México, Danza Azteca Taxcayolotl aims to use performance to foster unity and connectedness between cultures. The group uses intricate dance steps, drums, seedpods, flutes and conch shells to express their spiritual traditions and the cultural heritage of Mesoamerica.

SweetCup will be on site selling delicious gelato, in addition to free beer from Saint Arnolds and snacks.
