2022 Houston’s Heroes Awards Luncheon
Join Crime Stoppers at the 2022 Houston's Heroes Awards Luncheon to honor individuals and organizations who have given exemplary service to make Houston a safer place to live, work, learn, and play. The luncheon takes place at the Royal Sonesta Houston; registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12 p.m.
2022 Houston's Heroes Awards Winners are:
The Johnny Klevenhagen Award:
Fox 26, Breaking Bond Series
Any individual or organization working in the criminal justice system who has made a significant contribution to fighting crime.
The Fenner Weller Award:
Joe Madison, Demand Disruption
Any citizen who has made a significant contribution to fighting crime.
The Leiv Platou Award:
Amy Leibman, Genny McIntyre and Sheridan Williams
Any citizen who has made a significant contribution to public safety as a volunteer in the community.
The Corporate Citizen Award:
The Hamill Foundation
Any corporation or foundation that has shown a significant interest in keeping our community safe.
The Safe School Award:
Pam Wells, Ed.D., Executive Director, Region 4 Education Service Center
Any individual or group that has made a significant contribution towards keeping our schools safe and enhancing education.
The Women Who Shape Houston Award
Hallie Vanderhider
Any woman or women’s group who has made a difference in public safety and contributed or contributes to critical sectors of our community.
Partner of the Year Award
District Attorney Kim Ogg, Harris County District Attorney’s Office
Any individual or entity who has made a significant contribution to public safety as a Crime Stoppers of Houston partner and supporter.
The Dave Ward Media Excellence Award

Any entity or individual who has exhibited media excellence.
