2023 Crime Stoppers of Houston Annual Gala
Every year, Crime Stoppers of Houston brings the community together at its Annual ‘Leading the Way to a Safer Houston’ Gala to celebrate its mission and continued work for public safety and crime prevention. As crime and issues like human trafficking continue to impact our communities, the need for additional public safety solutions and programs is evident.
Graciously presented by C. James and Carole Walter Looke Family Fund, this special gathering will welcome Guest Speaker Mira Sorvino, UNODC Goodwill Ambassador for Global Fight Against Human Trafficking and Actress from Sound of Freedom, for a moderated conversation about the global and local impact of human trafficking. Mia Gradney of KHOU 11 News will lead the moderated conversation.
The event is being chaired by Jennifer and Chris “Kip” Hohman, whose personal mission is to help make Houston safer, specifically advancing the fight against human trafficking. GOYA Cares and Bob Unanue, President & CEO of Goya, have led local, statewide, national, and international efforts to combat trafficking and were instrumental in the production of Sound of Freedom.
