2024 KBR Kids Day & Tony Marron Park Send-Off
Buffalo Bayou Park's KBR Kids Day is a free annual event for the entire community. Thousands of children and their families will gather at Tony Marron Park in the Buffalo Bayou East to experience a full day of fun with exciting activities for all ages. This year, there will be a special ground-breaking activity as we bid a temporary farewell to Tony Marron Park before it begins construction in late 2024.
Halloween costumes are encouraged.
KBR Kids Day activities include:
- Hands-on nature activities
- Pumpkin carving by local artists
- Rock climbing wall
- Scavenger hunt
- Invasive Plant Eradication Unit
- Birding and nature walks
- Music and dance performances
- Birds of prey show
- Halloween costume parade
- Food and drinks will be available for purchase on-site
Free parking will be available at 4100 Clinton Drive (just east of Hirsch Street) with a complimentary shuttle service to and from the event.
Performance Schedule
- 11:00am: Segundo Barrio Children’s Chorus
- 11:20am: Dance of Asian America
- 11:45am: Birds of prey show with Friends of the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuges
- 12:30pm: Halloween costume parade
- 1:00pm: Bollywood Dancing Stars
- 1:30pm: Compania Folklorica Alegria Mexicana
- 2:00pm: Birds of prey show with Friends of the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuges
