The theme for the 2018 Houston Turkish Festival is “We come in different colors, we live as one”.

The 26th Houston Turkish Festival will celebrate all things Turkish, including authentic Turkish food, coffee, live music, traditional folk dancing including the famous whirling dervishes, a kids’ corner filled with fun activities, arts & crafts, and a Grand Bazaar. This year the festival will also feature a mini world pavilion which will provide an overview to the mosaic of international cultures Houston prides itself with. The theme for the 2018 Houston Turkish Festival is “We come in different colors, we live as one”.

This year’s festival will feature award winning performances by the TUANA ANKARA Folk Dance Group from Turkey as well as a collage of other live music and dance shows including “Opera and Keys Under the Stars” featuring renowned artist Mete Tasin and acclaimed Turkish composer Erberk Eryilmaz with piano and violin performances, Izmir Olgunlasma Institute fashion show, world renowned clarinet player Ismael Lumanowski from New York with amazing folklore compositions and many other performances by our local international guest organizations.
