5th Annual Concert Against Cancer
The 5th Annual Concert Against Cancer benefitting the Broach Foundation for Brain Cancer Research will take place at Axelrad on Dec. 26. Come out for great live music featuring performances by Meg Bres, Christie Dawson, Cameron Hull, Elizabeth Cregan, Ross Smolen, and Jake Schick.
The Broach Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for brain cancer, specifically glioblastoma. The Concert Against Cancer was founded in memory of Tom Bres who passed away from glioblastoma four years ago. Tom was not only beloved and admired by his family, friends, and community, but he became an impactful ally of the Broach Foundation during his final days. Following his passing, Tom’s daughter Meg founded The Concert Against Cancer in an effort to continue to raise funding and awareness for the Broach Foundation and its important mission. The Concert Against Cancer has raised over $45,000 for the Broach Foundation in the past four years.
