5th Annual Steel Magnolia Moms Holiday Market

Steel Magnolia Moms, a local non-profit for moms of children with special needs hosts their 5th annual Holiday Market on Thurs., Nov. 7, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at The Powder Keg located indoors at 1300 Brittmoore Road. The market has quickly grown to become a community favorite with more than 50 vendors this year. Small business owners and local artisans will be selling clothing and accessories, household items, gourmet food, art, children’s clothing and gifts, jewelry, and more.

Steel Magnolia Moms’ mission is to positively support one another and share in the joys and challenges of raising a child with special needs. The funds raised support programs such as Head to Heart, which provides workshops, private therapy, and a weekly support group to members; Magnolia Wellness, Moms Camp, and Happy Camper(s) which sends members’ children with disabilities to summer camp.

This year will include a special attraction for kids and kids at heart. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance and are certified with training from Morgan’s Wonderland, an inclusive theme park in San Antonio.
