62nd Annual Houston St. Patrick's Parade and Celebration
Enjoy a day full activities including the St. Patrick's Day parade, which will begin and end at POST with an Award Ceremony. There will be games, food, Irish performances, an outdoor market, a live DJ, and more. This event is free and open to the public of all ages.
Houston's St. Patrick's Day Parade is rooted firmly in the city's heritage. The first parades date back to the 1880s when the parade started in "Irish Town" by old St. Patrick's Church. Flags, bands and marchers would march to Market Square for a day of fun, games, music, food and drink. The people spilled in and out of the various pubs in Market Square. In 1960, radio personalities, Tim Nolan and Bob Bryant announced a St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Seltzerland will also be holding a ticketed Seltzer Festival in POST's Barbara Jordan Plaza!
