Discovery Green will host the third annual Art @ Discovery Green festival on Saturday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, with a preview event on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018. The outdoor fine art and contemporary craft market, which spans the park and the adjacent Avenida Houston, features more than 60 vendors from across the United States.

This year’s featured artist is Mario E. Figueroa Jr. - the iconic Houston street artist best known as GONZO247 - who will be onsite selling his studio work. In addition to vendors selling jewelry, furniture, paintings and sculptures, Art @ Discovery Green will feature craft activities for all ages presented by the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art. Hands-on craft workshops include mini art car making and plastering and embellishing miniature skulls in celebration of Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Discovery Green hosts its inaugural Día de los Muertos festival on the evening of the preview, Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, from 6 to 10 p.m.
