Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation’s Young Professionals Group Hosts 3rd Annual Holiday Book Drive

The Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation’s Young Professionals Group (YPG) will host the 3rd annual Tacky Sweater Holiday Book Drive, a social and service event held at Station 3. Throughout the evening, young professionals will mix and mingle while bundling donated books that will be distributed to approximately 1,000 children served at Kids’ Meals Inc.’s holiday celebration. Kids’ Meals Inc. is a Houston-area nonprofit that delivers nutritious meals to the doors of preschool children of low-income families, free of cost, every weekday, year-round.

YPG’s mission is to engage young professionals in Houston’s ongoing literacy crisis by creating opportunities for members to read, lead and serve our next generation.
