The Bayou Preservation Association's 12th Annual Symposium
Houston, we have a problem. Our bayous may provide an appealing landscape for joggers and cyclists, but we've got a big issue with what's in the water. Did you know you are able to find tires, cars, trucks, vans and even a pool table submerged in our bayous? The 2015 symposium will educate participants on how much trash and debris fill Houston’s bayous and waterways and will be a good reminder of the necessity of litter prevention. Register online at www.bayoupreservation.com or contact Kathy Lord at 713-529-6443.
Keynote Speaker will be Chad Pregracke, founder of Living Lands & Waters and CNN Hero of the Year recipient in 2013.
