Bellaire Coin Club Show

The Bellaire Coin Club is hosting the 180th Birth of the Republic of Texas Exhibit of Coinage and Currency of the Republic of Texas. The collection has been loaned to the Bellaire Coin Club and never has been displayed in any museum. The exhibit will be exclusive and one time only.

The Exclusive Birth of the Republic of Texas Exhibit will contain: 

1817 Jola, 1818 Jola (2 extremely rare varieties’),

Government of Texas $5 (1838 Sam Houston),

Government of Texas (1839 Lamar) $10, $20, $50, 

Republic of Texas (1840 Lamar) ‘Red’ $10, $20, $50

More than 40 local and national coin dealers will be buying and selling Rare Coins, Gold and Silver bullion, World and Ancient Coins, paper money, medals and tokens, Silver Dollars, jewelry & supplies. Gold and Silver door prizes will be given to paid attendees that are present at the drawing Saturday at 2 p.m. 

A children’s auction will be gratis at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts can earn their collecting merit badge at 2 p.m. Please email to sign up, as seating is limited.
