Bloom Community Services' Hocus Pocus Halloween Gala
Bloom Community Services is hosting their first annual Hocus Pocus-themed gala to help raise funds to support individuals with disabilities. The fundraiser will take place Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Humble Civic Center.
Bloom Community Services is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering abilities and redefining limits for adults with disabilities. The group advocates for the rights of individuals creating opportunities that enhance their skills and confidence. Through community engagement and personalized support, Bloom helps their clients develop essential life skills, build meaningful relationships and achieve personal goals.
The fundraising effort is to support transportation services, which are crucial for their clients who are unable to drive on their own. Bloom’s comprehensive transportation program includes morning pickups, community activities throughout the day, and safe returns home in the afternoon. 100% of donations will cover all the essential costs associated with transportation such as fuel, insurance, vehicles and maintenance.
The Hocus Pocus Gala will offer a full catered meal with appetizers and dessert as well as cocktail tickets.
