Breakthrough Houston is an educational program that prepares students with high academic potential, but limited educational resources, for competitive high schools and college admission. Through its unique “students-teaching-students” model, Breakthrough also trains talented college and high school students for careers in education.  A leader in education reform, the organization offers an intensive 6-week summer session, plus a monthly program during the school year. Last year the program made headlines when one of its scholars was accepted to all 20 of the prestigious colleges to which he applied
