Celebrate Juneteenth and Emancipation Program

Join The Heritage Society’s Speaker Series celebrating Juneteenth with an educational program experience “From Plantation to Emancipation." Speakers include descendants of Reverend Jack Yates, Roscoe A. Cavitt, Executive Secretary, National Negro Chamber of Commerce, and a genealogist from Houston Suffrage Project highlighting African American's women's voting milestones 1920s. The reception, entertainment, and speakers' event are FREE with Black History tour purchase for June 11.
