Child Abuse Awareness Safe Community Seminar

In 2015, Texas had 66,721 confirmed victims of child abuse/neglect including 6,360 in Harris County.

Crime Stoppers of Houston and The Thread Alliance will host a Child Abuse Awareness Safe Community Seminar on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Children's Assessment Center. The seminar is free and will focus on bringing awareness about child abuse and pursuing child abuse fugitives. A panel with representatives from the clinical and legal community will discuss this important topic.

Nichole Christoph, Deputy Director of Crime Stoppers, will serve as the moderator for the seminar and Sheila Aron, Founder of The Thread Alliance will welcome and introduce the panel of experts. The Safe Community Seminar panel is as follows:
