Children’s Museum: Kids Play Wonder Week

This Wonder Week at the Children's Museum is an opportunity for children to create crafts, play with other kids, and experiment with science. The following activities will be included; cup and ball game, paper puppets, UV bracelets, playground architects, and more!

Creating art and playing allow children to exercise self-expression. Self-expression is important because it can be a way for the child to convey their emotions in a healthy and positive way. Another reason why crafts and play are important is that when kids use their fingers to manipulate art materials, they are developing their fine motors skills. Play and artistic projects also encourage a stronger sense of independence, and they sharpen the child's problem-solving abilities.
