The City of Bellaire's Celebration of Independence Parade and Festival
The City of Bellaire's Celebration of Independence Parade and Festival kicks off at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 4 with a parade down South Rice Ave. leading into the festival at Bellaire Town Square (7008 South Rice) until 12 p.m.
The parade will start on South Rice Ave. at Valerie St. and proceed down South Rice Ave. to Linden St. Residents are encouraged to line up along South Rice and enjoy the parade as it passes. The festival will follow at 9:45 a.m. in Bellaire Town Square and will include live music, food, and entertainment for the kids, including a petting zoo, inflatables, face painting, and much more!
The Children's Bike Parade will kick off the event at 9:00 a.m. and lead the Big Parade down South Rice Ave. Children can decorate their bikes or trikes and walk/ride in the parade to celebrate. There is no application or charge for the Children's Bike Parade. If you would like to be a part of the Children's Bike Parade, please meet at South Rice Ave. and Evergreen.
