Compassion Week 2025

Compassionate Houston's annual Compassion Week will take place Nov. 10-15, 2025, including at least 20 free events centered around this theme: Small Acts. Big Change. Tools for Compassionate Living.

Find the schedule of events here. This year marks the 10th anniversary of coming together for a full week of inspiration, knowledge-sharing, dialogue, collaborations, and hands-on activities. What began as a simple idea has grown into a vibrant tradition, connecting hearts across Greater Houston by showcasing and sharing tangible examples of Houston’s compassionate culture through various partner and network offerings.

 

Established in 2011, Compassionate Houston is a network of approximately 30 organizations that share the mission of fostering compassion. In 2013, because of Compassionate Houston’s efforts, Houston was designated as a Compassionate City by the Houston Mayor and City Council, the first to be so recognized in Texas.
