Constructivism - The Soviet Avant-Garde Poster

Constructivism

Russian Cultural Center Our Texas is proud to present Constructivism. The Soviet Avant-Garde Poster, an exhibition of Soviet posters in partnership with Kingwood Branch Library. This exhibition represents a unique opportunity to view a collection of famous posters that were published during the height of this art form, i.e. from the 1920s to the 1940s. Throughout the Soviet era, poster art took on an important role, the visual language of these posters proved to be a powerful way to deliver influential propaganda messages and encourage calls for action.
Soviet Avant-Garde posters are treasured by art-lovers as a result of their exquisite attention to detail and seemingly endless scope of technique, which come together to create an unforgettable aesthetic. Every poster bears a stamp of expressiveness and graphical quality.
