"Cosmic Beginnings" - Opening Night of the 2018 Texas Music Festival

The TMF Orchestra Series will lift off Saturday, June 9 with a soaring double feature of Strauss: Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30 (think of the famed soundtrack of the iconic film, "2001: A Space Odyssey," which celebrates the 50th anniversary of its release this year), and the seven-movement The Planets, under the baton of TMF Music Director & Chief Conductor Franz Anton Krager. “This space-theme music program is a first for TMF and so fitting for our Space City.”
