Covenant House Texas Night of Broadway Stars

Some of Broadway’s best vocalists are coming to Houston on May 2, 2023 in support of Houston youth overcoming homelessness. Covenant House Texas, a shelter providing housing and support services for these youth, will host Night of Broadway Stars to raise funds and awareness for the safety and support services Covenant House provides daily to young persons who are seeking freedom from situations like homelessness and trafficking. Hosted by well-known composer and lyricist Neil Berg, the energetic evening will feature performances by Broadway stars who have had roles in popular musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, School of Rock and The Color Purple. Current Covenant House Texas youth will have their moment in the spotlight as they share personal stories of how they found their way to Covenant House and the life-changing experiences they have had as a result. Night of Broadway Stars is chaired by Elaine and Robert Shaffer and will honor the Trini and O.C. Mendenhall Foundation.
