CPR and First Aid Classes at Rice University
Rice EMS will be offering CPR and First Aid classes open to students/staff/faculty as well as the public:
Heartsaver CPR/AED:
Sunday, Jan. 27, 1-5 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 23, 1-5 p.m.
Saturday, March 23, 1-5 p.m.
First Aid:
Saturday, Feb. 16, 1-5 p.m.
Saturday, April 6, 1-5 p.m.
The CPR courses will cover the American Heart Association's Heartsaver CPR/AED Curriculum designed for lay rescuers which includes adult/child/infant CPR, rescue breathing/choking, and AED use. The First Aid courses will cover the basic steps that should be taken for medical emergencies, including allergic reactions, cuts, choking, and more. At course completion, students will receive a certification card that is valid for two years.
These classes will be held on Rice campus.
