DACAMERA Gala 2023: Music Salons and Jazz Supper Club

On May 5th, DACAMERA will host its one-of-a-kind annual gala at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston. Chairs Dr. Garfield Johnson and Dr. Jakeen Johnson will welcome guests for an unforgettable evening featuring a lively cocktail hour, wine pull and gourmet seated dinner with a selection of curated wines. Award-winning jazz vocalist Tawanda Suessbrich-Joaquim will treat guests to a dazzling performance. In 2021, Tawanda won the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and has been hailed by the New York Sun as “a thrilling new voice.” Individual tickets for the gala start at $500 and tables start at $5,000.
