Discovery Green Conservancy’s biennial gala returns in 2023 to celebrate its 15th anniversary and the civic leadership, vision, and vibrant cultural diversity that transformed surface parking lots into one of the most iconic places in America. This year’s theme is “Discovery Green A to Z,” positioning Discovery Green as more than a park but as place for Houstonians to come together as a community and celebrate the city’s vibrant culture and diversity. 

This year’s celebration honors President Barry Mandel and Director of Programming Susanne Theis. The event will be chaired by Kusum and K. Cody Patel and will take place in The Grove restaurant.

Proceeds from the fundraiser support the Conservancy’s free programming and maintenance of this premier green oasis.
