Ferragosto Pizza and Movie Night

 

The Italian Cultural & Community Center of Houston (ICCC) invites film afficionados and foodies to the Milford House for a screening of Tuttaposto, accompanied by pizza and soft drinks in celebration of la Festa di Ferragosto. Anyone enthusiastic about film, food, or Italian culture can register. 

This comedy directed by Gianni Constantino takes place in a small University in the south of Italy, where the dean allows corruption to run rampant, not giving any importance to justice, meritocracy, or the quality of the education. None of the students seem to be able to overturn such a situation, until Roberto, the dean’s son and the biggest string-puller of them all, decides that it is time to change things, so he creates a revolutionary mobile application to rate professors.

Soft drinks and pizza provided by Piola Midtown are included in the ticket price.
