FotoFest Biennial 2020 Grand Opening

Every two years, the opening celebration for the FotoFest Biennial is one of the biggest and most anticipated celebrations of art in Houston, bringing out the art community and the public to celebrate the kick-off of the United States' oldest and longest running international celebration of photography.The 2020 Biennial exhibition and programs are centered around the theme of AFRICAN COSMOLOGIES: Photography, Time, and the Other, with a focus on artists of Africa and the global African diaspora. The FotoFest Biennial 2020 marks the first time in its 37-year history that the Biennial’s central exhibition will focus on artists of African origin.

The 2020 Biennial Opening is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC with complimentary valet parking, music, and refreshments. Donations are gratefully accepted. Join the party and kick off the FotoFest Biennial with the rest of the city and a few thousand new friends!
