The Friends of the Bellaire Library's Spring Book Sale
The Friends of the Bellaire Library's Spring Book Sale – the very first “FIRE SALE” - will be held Sat., April 2, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Bellaire Fire Station. Browse through books inside the designated fire station bays, rain or shine.
Held twice each year, the book sales are the major fundraisers for the Friends and proceeds benefit the City of Bellaire’s Library. Adult hardback books are $2; adult paperbacks are $1; children’s hardback books are $1; children’s paperbacks are $0.50 each. Adult and Children’s book sets range from $2-$5.
Students in the National Honor Society of Bellaire High School volunteer to help set up in the morning and return in the afternoon to help clean up and prepare for the next sale.
Parking is available in the Library’s parking lot as well as across the street from the Fire Station at the City’s Parking lot. Parking is also available along South Rice in designated parking areas.
